Welcome

Come to the woods.

Cedar Cross Retreat Center is a place to reflect, learn, reconnect with nature, and deepen your spiritual life. Whether through walking along a winding trail, watching the reflections on a pond, talking with a friend, or gaining insights from a retreat leader, we hope you will find that Cedar Cross meets your needs for rest, reflection, and renewal.

Cedar Cross offers four miles of trails through 52 acres in the woods of beautiful Franklin County, North Carolina.  Bordered by creeks, ponds, and beaver marsh, the property includes a variety of natural landscapes.  We seek to be good stewards of the land, and to learn from the gifts it has to offer.

Gratitude is the word that best describes how I have felt here. And also, a quiet stillness, with no timetable, just the natural rhythm of life. The outdoors, and hiking, spoke to my soul. Cedar Cross is a wonderful place, because it is a place where people can be still and listen to God.
